Giorgio Armani is pleased to announce that Solange Knowles will attend the 5th annual Fashion Rocks wearing a variety of Armani ensembles throughout the evening.  The event will take place tonight, September 5th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and will be televised on CBS on September 9th.  

For her first appearance at Fashion Rocks, Solange has chosen to arrive on the red carpet  in a Giorgio Armani Privé printed silk organza skirt and crinoline shawl embroidered with Swarovski stones and long crystal fringes.

To perform, Solange has selected a customized Giorgio Armani fringed multi-coloured dress. Solange’s backup dancers will wear customized Emporio Armani iridescent purple pleated short dresses.

After her performance, Solange will change into a Giorgio Armani Privé geometric-patterned black and white silk jacket with a bow motif on the shoulders and a crater line skirt in black silk gauze.

Solange’s newly-released sophomore album, Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams, debuted at #9 on “The Billboard 200” Chart, #3 on Billboard’s “R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” Chart and #9 on the “Billboard Comprehensive” Chart as well as receiving acclaim and impressive reviews from music critics.


Giorgio Armani has recently announced Solange as new Armani Jeans global ambassador, as well as collaborating with her in providing Armani outfits for her European press tour.
